Applications for DOUBLE DEGREE programmes now open

Candidaturas abertas até 19 de Fevereiro!

The 2nd application phase for double degree (or dual degree) programmes is open until 19 February, through the Connect platform: Outbound Mobility Applications – Double Degrees 2024/2025.

What is a double degree?

Under these programmes, students complete part of their Master’s studies at IST and part at a partner university abroad. Upon completion, they graduate from both institutions and receive two diplomas (one from each university). This allows them to practise professionally in the countries where each diploma is recognised, following the procedures of the relevant professional associations.

Who is eligible?

  • Students enrolled in a Master’s degree (2nd cycle)
  • Students enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree (1st cycle) who are in a transitional situation (regime de continuidade) may also be considered, provided they meet the following requirement: at least 30 ECTS of 2nd cycle courses, including completed courses and active enrolments, even if they are still attending 1st cycle courses.
  • Minimum application grade: 12.50
