First public defence of the Master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Engineering (MEGIE)

The Master’s in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Engineering (MEGIE) held its first public defence on 18 November 2021. The new MEGIE graduate is Francisco Morganho, who defended the thesis “Eco-design for plastic waste valorisation in a circular economy perspective”, supervised by Ana Carvalho (DEG). The examination committee was chaired by Miguel Preto, the programme coordinator, with Inês Esteves Ribeiro from the Department of Mechanical Engineering serving as the opponent.

The DEG is delighted to witness the continued growth and development of the MEGIE programme.
