On the 15th of March, the national team won the Rugby Europe Championship, defeating Georgia and achieving this milestone for the second time.

Manuel Vareiro and Duarte Pedro Nunes, students on the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (LEGI), Raffaele Storti, alumni of the same degree programme, and João Granate, an alumni of LEGI and the Master’s in Industrial Engineering and Management (MEGI), were part of the “Lobos” team, defeating Georgia and accomplishing a historic feat for Portuguese rugby. Tomás Amado, a student at Técnico (from LEE-IST programme), was also part of the winning team.
