Margarida Abreu, alumna of the Master of Engineering and Industrial Management (MEGI) is the winner of the 2023 edition, of the Portuguese Association of Management and Industrial Engineering (APGEI) Award in partnership with the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST).

Margarida finished her master’s degree with 19 values, having, under the scientific guidance of Professors José Rui Figueira and Daniel Santos, defended the thesis "Bi-Objective Districting and Routing Problems: A Comparison of Models", in which she had 20 values.

This award, whose applications normally take place in December, aims to elect the best student of Engineering and Industrial Management of each Institution and aims to contribute to the specialized training of young Masters in Engineering and Industrial Management, improve their qualifications and assist their integration into the labour market.
