Professor Ana Póvoa was awarded in the area of Economics and Management in the 2023 edition of the ULisboa/CGD Scientific Awards, whose ceremony took place on 23rd November.

Celebrated annually, this award aims to "reward the activity of scientific research and encourage the practice of publication in international journals of recognized quality ", extending to 26 scientific areas. Through the submission of books, book chapters, original articles or review articles, the candidates were evaluated for the relevance of their scientific production.

In addition to Professor Ana Póvoa, congratulations are due to the Instituto Superior Técnico, as IST appears to lead the number of winners and honorable mentions from the list released by the University of Lisbon.

Applications for the 2024 edition are ongoing until February 23rd.
