The 1st application period for doctoral programs at Instituto Superior Técnico is open until July 20.

The Department of Engineering and Management (DEG) offers two doctoral programs:

• Engineering and Management
• Engineering and Public Policy

These programs provide advanced training, with a strong interdisciplinary component and a dynamic, international research environment. They are aimed at candidates who wish to deepen their knowledge and carry out high-level research with academic, economic, and social impact.

Applications must be submitted through the Connect platform.

Applications to doctoral programs are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the academic year, but will only be reviewed during the defined application periods.

In 2024, Técnico launched its new Doctoral School, a strategic initiative that includes industry placements and training in transversal skills.
