The Department of Engineering and Management (DEG) at Instituto Superior Técnico has successfully concluded the accreditation processes with A3ES – the Portuguese Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education, covering five of its study programmes.

The following DEG-coordinated programmes have been accredited for a period of six years:

• BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management (LEGI)
• MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management (MEGI)
• MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Engineering and Management (MEGIE)
• PhD Programme in Engineering and Management (PDEGest)
• PhD Programme in Engineering and Public Policy (PDEPP)

This outcome reflects the dedicated work of programme coordinators, as well as the sustained contribution of academic staff and the department throughout the evaluation process.

The six-year accreditation represents formal recognition of the scientific, pedagogical, and organisational quality of these programmes, reinforcing DEG’s position in engineering and management education.
